A painter for nine years, Lisa's work has been featured by Ballet Mississippi as well as Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital.

Lisa started studying with Mississippi artist Bob Tompkins and has continued her studies with well-known artists Quang Ho, Roger Dale Brown, Dawn Whitelaw, Joe Anna Arnett, Mark Boedges, Stephanie Birdsall, Lucy Mazzaferrro, Jill Steenhuis and Brad Lorbach.

Lisa cites her favorite painters as Joaquín Sorolla, Mary Cassett, Hans Hofmann, Quang Ho, Elaine De Kooning, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
